Police Arrest Three on Marijuana, Narcotics Charges

Middletown Police report the following arrests:

CRIMINAL IMPERSONATION, SECOND-DEGREE FALSE STATEMENT, SECOND-DEGREE FALSELY REPORTING INCIDENT, SECOND-DEGREE HARASSMENT — On May 27, Shanae Tyler, 19, of Rose Circle was at the scene of a disturbance and found with an outstanding warrant from Dec. 11, 2010.

SECOND-DEGREE BREACH OF PEACE — On May 27, Theresa Ross, 45, of Rose Circle was at a domestic disturbance on Cynthia Lane in which the victim, who had a red mark on her neck and said her hair was pulled from her head, said she had been attacked by Ross. The victim’s boyfriend confirmed the story, as did a neighbor. Ross told police she and her daughter went to the house not intending to argue, but ended up in a fight on the ground. She then left.

POSSESSION UNDER 4 OZ MARIJUANA, AND WITHIN 1,500 FEET OF DAY CARE, POSSESSION OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, AND MARIJUANA WITH INTENT TO SELL — On May 23, Carol Lyn Holloman, 62, of Thomas Street was at the scene of a search and seizure warrant execution. She was in the kitchen and another woman was standing at the back door. Officers saw Michael Sabia, 48, of Main Street, Ivoryton, driving a pickup truck enter the complex with the subject of the warrant in the passenger seat. The car fled the scene and police found it a short time later. The rear passenger was Danielle L. Coleman, 27, of Center Street, Meriden. Officers found Sabia with crack cocaine and both he and Holloman had a smoking pipe. Sabia was charged with possession of a narcotic substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. The other passenger had $345 in cash and a cell phone that constantly rang on the scene.

Holloman said she had marijuana in her purse in the house — 28 grams were found. Detectives later answered the phone and set up two drug transactions with the callers, resulting in two arrests for criminal attempt to possess crack cocaine. Holloman was arrested for the charges above, Sable for possession of drug paraphernalia and narcotics and Coleman for possession of drug paraphernalia.

POSSESSION UNDER 4 OZ MARIJUANA — On May 7, Christopher I. Collins, 26, of Beverly Heights was in a car parked at the Athenian Diner and police smelled marijuana then found a burnt cigarette under the seat. He has a pending case for narcotics sales and two convictions for possession of narcotics.
