PD: Woman Solicited Undercover Cop for Sex — 2nd Time This Year

One Lisa Gibbs got into the car she offered $100 for an entire night of sexual acts, according to Middletown Police.

A 46-year-old known prostitute was arrested last week after offering an undercover detective $100 for a night of sexual acts, according to Middletown Police.

On Sept. 10 at about 10:15 p.m., street crime and narcotics officers were canvassing the North End after citizens and the North End Action Team complained about prostitution and other quality of life issues, according to the report. 

Numerous calls had been made recently about a crack cocaine user and prostitute, Lisa M. Gibbs, 46, of Bow Lane, detectives report.

On Jan. 22, the report says, Officer Nicholas Puorro arrested her for prostitution and police have had numerous calls about her waving down cars, soliciting citizens and panhandling. Officers received a call that Gibbs was at Washington Street and Alsop Avenue, trying to stop cars driving on Route 66, the report indicates. 

She was found on Court Street near Mezzo Bar and Grill, and Puorro, who was undercover, rolled down the window of her car, documents indicate, she offered "several sexual acts" in exchange for $20.

One she got into the car, the report says, she offered $100 "for an entire night of sexual acts." A search revealed she was carrying a crack cocaine smoking pipe.

She was charged with use of drug paraphernalia and prostitution.

In March of this year, Gibbs was arrested for panhandling, harassing pedestrians and then argued with her boyfriend because he wouldn't buy her alcohol, the report says.

Gibbs has multiple convictions going back as far as 2008 for sixth-degree larceny, failures to appear in Bridgeport and Hartford, narcotics possession in Norwalk, and two breach of peaces from Middletown.
