PD: Woman Missing From Connecticut Valley Hospital Found Unconscious in Woods

A state police canine unit found the 53-year-old Middletown woman who went missing from Connecticut Valley Hospital was found unconscious in woods near the campus on Tuesday morning, according to police.

Connecticut State Police Spokesperson Lt. Paul Vance said officers had located Joanne Menna at 10 a.m. Tuesday. She was reported missing Sunday in a press release.

CVH is the state's forensic, general psychiatric and addictions inpatient treatment facility in Middletown.

Menna was last seen Sunday wearing a green button-down shirt, tan pants and white sneakers, according to the police report. She is five feet tall and weighs 141 pounds, has brown hair and blue eyes.
