PD: Woman Gives Cops Middle Finger at Road Construction Site

Middletown Police say a 21-year-old city woman, aggravated that road construction was delaying traffic on Country Club Road, swore at an officer working private duty, then claimed she was protected under freedom of speech.

A 21-year-old city woman is facing multiple charges after say she sped through a road construction site, swore at and gave an officer the middle finger.

On Aug. 8, Stephanie Charlitze Londono of Town Place Drive was seen by a police officer on private duty during construction on Country Club Road, speeding uphill at the construction area.

The report says she saw the officer, and gave him the finger after looking at her speedometer, saying, "go [expletive] yourself, I'm doing the speed limit!" State Police assisted, the report says, as Londono told officers her action was protected under freedom of speech.

Londono argued with the officers and refused to sign her paperwork, then, the report says, struggled against being handcuffed and arrested. She was found with a glass smoking pipe on her.
