PD: Woman With Ecstasy Pill Arrested

A 21-year-old city resident sitting in a car in the parking lot behind the Green Street Arts Center had marijuana and narcotics, according to Middletown Police.

 

Middletown Police announce the following incidents:

SECOND-DEGREE BREACH OF PEACE, SECOND-DEGREE ASSAULT — On April 25, Shaun M. Gaskins, 27, of Burgundy Hill Lane turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

BREACH OF PEACE — On April 25 at 2:45 a.m., Tabitha Cornell, 42, of Broad Street, Meriden, was involved in a physical altercation on Newfield Street in which the victim, Anthony Wesley Lyons, 44, of Newfield Street (whom is dating Cornell) said Cornell grabbed Lyons, causing him a scratched head. Both were charged.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On April 24, Andrea Rae Scala, 35, of Mill Street was found with an outstanding warrant from Hartford.

POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, AND LESS THAN HALF-OUNCE CANNABIS — On April 15 at 10:26 p.m., police were patrolling the parking lot at the rear of 594 Main Street and saw a Toyota Corolla with a driver, Katherine Seabrook, 21, of Meetinghouse Lane, and front passenger while the car was running. Officers saw Seabrook make a motion as if throwing something under the driver’s seat, the report says. The officer smelled marijuana and Seabrook turned over a baggie with 1.2 grams inside. A search revealed one ecstasy pill, which she said she purchased from “someone in Westlake.”

TWO COUNTS SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR, POSSESSION LESS THAN HALF-OUNCE CANNABIS — On April 17 at 8:45 p.m., Anders C. Helm, 31, of Reisman Trail, Higganum, was driving a Subaru Impreza on Wall Street and didn’t stop at Silver Street. The report says the officer saw a glass smoking pipe and 1.1 grams of marijuana. He was found with two outstanding warrants.

USE OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA — On April 15 at 624 p.m., Edlyn Fuller, 44, of Court Street was the front passenger in a Buick Century driving on Main Street past an officer who knew the driver, Raeshon K. Daniels, 30, of Town Brooke, had his license suspended. All three, the report says, are heavy drug users. On the floor was found copper wool and a cigarette box with two glass pipes inside with crack cocaine residue. Fuller was arrested for the above; Daniels for operation of a motor vehicle while license is suspended.

BREACH OF PEACE — On April 13 at 8:36 p.m., Ryan S. Bates, 24, of Devonshire Lane, Madison, the ex-boyfriend of a female victim involved in an assault on Ferry Street was “parading himself about” on Main and Ferry streets “in an agitated manner,” immediately afterward, the police report says. Two juveniles told officers Bates said, “I’m gonna kill that [expletive]” and lifted up his shirt, exposing a black pistol grip in his waistline. Police found him walking on Ferry Street  and recovered a BB gun, although the report says Bates denied he had brandished the gun but rather grabbed his crotch.

OPERATION UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM, STOP SIGN VIOLATION — On April 2 at 5:44 p.m., Dean M. Klick, 45, of Miller Street was driving a Chevrolet S10 on Grand Street and failed to stop at Pearl Street. The report says Klick admitted the car wasn’t insured or registered because it was too expensive.
