PD: Man Arrested For Flaunting Gun Outside Liquor Store

Middletown Police say

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On June 7 at 9:40 p.m., William D. Bressler, 22, of George Street was at the scene of a domestic incident and, police say, had an injury to the side of his face, where it was red and swollen. The report says he and his mother’s boyfriend, Samuel Clymer, 47, of George Street had struck one another. The mother, who police say had a red mark on her wrist, confirmed the story, adding Clymer had nit her. The victim had a bloody lip and was found by officers hiding behind chicken wire in the basement, the report says. He said he and his stepson had argued but no one was it.  Two witnessed confirmed the assault by both men, the report says. Bressler, who officers say had two outstanding warrants, was additionally charged with two counts of second-degree failure to appear.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On June 7 at 2:52 p.m., police were called to a home on Pearl Street for a domestic incident by a father, who had locked himself in the bedroom with their 3-week-old infant and the mother, the report says, Autumn Church, 23, was trying to break down the door with a hammer. Police say they were told by the father that Church had given birth three weeks before and was suffering from post-partum depression. The father said she was out of control and she threatened to get a hammer and break the door down, the report says. A claw hammer was witnessed by officers in a wicker basket three to five feet from the door but there were no marks on the door, officers say. Church was transported to Middlesex Hospital, the report says.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — On June 7 at 11:54 a.m., police were called to Baer Street for an assault. The report says Deborah Roulhac, 44, of Glenn Street, New Britain, had come to visit her 9-month-old granddaughter and fought with the mother and victim. After she was not allowed to see the baby, police say, Roulhac punched the victim, but she didn’t remember doing so, the report says, because she was so enraged.
