A 14-year-old Middletown girl is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries after police say she jumped from a highway overpass onto Route 9 in Cromwell Friday evening, according to the Hartford Courant.
The teen, who has not been identified, was treated at Hartford Hospital after falling onto the highway around 8:21 p.m., according to police.
WTNH is reporting that a motorist on West Street, which runs over Route 9, called 911 on a girl sitting on the guardrails with her feet dangling from the highway overpass. Police said she fell about 40 feet.
