No Injuries in Minor Woodrow Wilson Bus Accident

Thirteen Middletown middle school students were riding a bus home after school on Route 66 near Route 217 when there was a minor fender-bender, according to state police.

 

A Woodrow Wilson Middle School bus carrying 13 students was involved in a very minor crash on Route 66 in Middletown Thursday afternoon. There were no injuries, according to State Police Sgt. Salvatore Calvo of the Westbrook Troop F barracks.

The accident took place just after 3 p.m. near the intersection of Route 217, Ballfall Road, in Middletown. All the parents were notified, Calvo said, and the students were transferred to another bus for transport home.

Two state police officers remain on scene with Middlefield police.
