New Britain Man Charged With Woodbury Circle Home Invasion

Middletown Police report the following incidents:

HOME INVASION, CRIMINAL VIOLATION OF RESTRAINING ORDER, SECOND-DEGREE THREATENING, DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On June 21, Justin B. Ryals, 26, of Burry Street, New Britain, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant from a June 2 incident on Woodbury Circle.

TWO COUNTS FIRST-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On June 20, Melissa A. Pistilli, 23, of Sunset Terrace, East Hampton, was found at Harbor Park possibly consuming alcoholic beverages. She lied multiple times about her name and date of birth, then was found with outstanding warrants for third-degree criminal trespass and possession of narcotics.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On June 20, Diane M. Damiano, 42, of Cooley Avenue was involved in a domestic disturbance with the father of her children. He said she slapped his head and chest and had red marks. She denied the charges then accused the victim of attacking her and defending herself.

SECOND-DEGREE BREACH OF PEACE, REFUSAL TO BE FINGERPRINTED — On June 18, Tracy L. Rosa, 41, of Saybrook Road was yelling and screaming at neighbors from the middle of Bear Street and appeared intoxicated. Later in the night, she called 911 saying someone was going to murder her. She was still intoxicated, hanging out her window, yelling at the building superintendent saying, “go hang out with the [expletives] next door.”

POSSESSION UNDER 4 OZ MARIJUANA — On June 18, Kyle A. Secore, 22, of Highland Avenue was driving on Main Street with a severely cracked windshield, front plate in the front windshield, exhaust falling off the car and not wearing his seatbelt. The officer smelled marijuana coming from the car and found a hand-rolled cigarette and another half in the ashtray.

INTERFERING WITH OFFICER — On June 18, Andrew J. Ferro, 25, of Hendley Street was taken in on an outstanding warrant from May 21.

FIFTH-DEGREE LARCENY — On June 17, Ulpiano L. Lugo, 30, of Laurel Hill Avenue, Norwich, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant stemming from a June 2 incident on Main Street.

POSSESSION DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, ILLEGALLY TINTED WINDOWS, OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT INSURANCE — On June 7, Carlos Colon-Hernandez, 25, of Whitting Street, New Britain, was driving on Main Street. When police stopped him they found wax paper with a red stamp, commonly used to store heroin, sticking out from under the driver’s seat. Five, torn-open, small heat-sealed baggies and three small pieces of yellow paper with a picture of Pac Man and stamped “silent killer” were found.
