Middletown Police Chief Cleared Of Any Wrongdoing

The investigation cost taxpayers $60,000.

An independent law firm has cleared Middletown Police Chief William McKenna of illegally taking prescription drugs from some police officers, WFSB 3 television reports. 
McKenna had said that the charges were made against him because he took some disciplinary action against police officers. The investigation cost taxpayers $60,000, WFSB reports.
