Criminal Mischief
Scott Ekstrom, 28, 1 Ridge Road, Portland, was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal mischief and a breach of peace after he turned himself in to police on Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m. after learning there was a warrant for his arrest. Ekstrom was released on a promise to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Nov. 27.
Revoked License
Melissa A. McNeely, 26, 32 Iron St., Ledyard, was cited for having a revoked license after police pulled her over on Nov. 14 as she was making a turn from Washington Street onto Main Street.
Larceny
Paul J. Nowlin, 59, 40 Broad St., Middletown, was arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny on Nov. 10 after polie said he tried to shoplift $9.92 worth of Beef Jerkey and ice cream from Rite Aid in the downtown. Nowlin was given a misdemeanor summons to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Nov. 20.
Burglary
Daniel Kennedy, 51 Robbins Ave., no age given, was arrested and charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer and an attempt to commit a crime after police said he broke into a home on Williams Street on Nov. 26. The tenant alerted police and, when an officer responded, Kennedy attempted to flee the scene but was later caught, police said. He was held on a $50,000 cash bond and is scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Nov. 30.
