A pregnant woman reportedly told police she had been assaulted by the father of the baby. That man was arrested on assault charges, NBC Connecticut reports.
Middletown resident Steven Freeman was arrested on charges of third degree assault on a pregnant person, after he allegedly kicked the woman in the stomach during a fight, according to NBC.
The woman stated she did not require medical care, WFSB reports.
