Middletown Arrests: Sept. 22-25
The following information was provided by the Middletown Police Department public information officer. An arrest does not constitute a conviction and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Middletown Police report the following incidents:
OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, EVADING RESPONSIBILITY, FAILURE TO DRIVE IN PROPER LANE — On Sept. 25 at 9 a.m., Timothy Connelly, 42, of Coe Avenue, Meriden, was picked up at the Newington Police Department on an outstanding warrant from Middletown.
SIX COUNTS STOP SIGN VIOLATION, AND TWO COUNT EACH PF USE OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE — On Sept. 22, Eva A. Roehrl, 45, of Burr Hill Road, Killingworth, was driving on Lincoln Street when an officer saw her pass through the High Street intersection without stopping, the report indicates. She then drove through five other intersections with an officer following her, Lincoln and Park Place, Park and Liberty Street, Liberty and Prospect Street, and then Prospect and Newfield Street. Roehrl, the report says, was "visibly shaken and attempting to hide something, rummaging through her pocketbook." As other officers arrived, the report says, Roehrl was found with a used hypodermic needle, glass crack pipe and six wax baggies with heroin inside, totaling .03 grams and $60. She was released on a $5,000 bond and given an Oct. 5 court date.
