Leslie A. Wright, 28, 239 Stonycrest Drive, Middletown, was charged with evading responsibility and unsafe backing after police said he was involved in a dispute with the parking authority on Sept. 30 after they wanted to “boot” his car from a parking space, due to unpaid parking tickets against him. Wright fled the seen before being found later by police. He is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 14.
Stephen Kowalyshyn, 31, of 40 Grant St., Oracle, Ark., was charged with second-degree failure to appear after he was picked up on warrant on Oct. 1 after police located him at 65 Church St. Kowalyshyn posted a $50 bond and is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 15.
Clifton Harrison, 38, 112 Silver St., Middletown, was charged with assaulting an emergency personnel and second-degree breach of peace after police responded to Middlesex Hospital’s emergency room on Oct. 5 around 7:40 a.m. for a reported dispute. Officials at the hospital told police Harrison became combative toward hospital staff when he was not allowed to have his way.
He began spitting, kicking and swinging a closed fist at everyone and he spit and punched the face of one of the staff members, police said. Police said Harrison has several medical conditions and some physical disabilities. The staff hit said they did not want to press charges Harrison was still taken into custody and held on a $5,000 non-surety bond. He is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 22.
James Dewey, 14 Hubard St., Middletown, was charged with third-degree assault and strangulation after police said he was visiting his mother at Middlesex Hospital and was caught by a nurse trying to cut off the nasal air circulation to his mother as she was in the hospital bed.
Chris Coriveau, 36, 55 Tryon St., Middletown, was charged with sixth-degree larceny after he was accused of shoplifting $21.24 worth of drill bits from Home Depot. Coriveau was released and is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 15.
Eugene M. Trudeau, 51, 51 Spring St., Middletown, was
charged with sixth-degree larceny after police said he shoplifted $71.25 worth
of merchandise from Home Depot on Washington Street. Police said Trudeau tried
to steal Bosch glass and tile cutters, Diablo blades and a Husky ball port
valve. He is scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 16.
Rogelio Valentin, 53, 128 Pine St., Middletown, was charged with disorderly conduct after police said he was involved in a domestic dispute at home. Valentin appeared in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 7.
Jessica Kimball, 33, 128 Pine St., Middletown, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault after police said she was involved in a domestic dispute at home. Kimball posted a $10,000 non-surety bond and was scheduled appeared in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 7.
Justin Wilson, 32, 222 Pearl St., Middletown, turned himself in to police on Oct. 7 after learning there was a warrant for his arrest on a charge of second-degree criminal mischief. He also turned himself in on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear. Wilson was held on a combined $11,000 court set surety bond and was due in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 7.
Patricia Morin, 58, 169 College St., Middletown, was charged with violation of probation after police said she was caught sleeping on the property of the Middletown Historical Society on Oct. 8 around 1:54 a.m. Morin was wanted on a warrant out of New Britain. She was held on a $10,000 bond and was due in Middlesex Superior Court on Oct. 8.
