Middletown Arrests: Dec. 27 to Jan. 7

The following police reports come from the Middletown Police public information officer. Individuals named here reflect charges filed, never a conviction.

Middletown Police report the following incidents:

Jan. 7

VIOLATION OF PROBATION — Kivana Wright, 33, of Bridge Street turned herself in on an outstanding warrant.

Jan. 6

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, FIRST-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS — At 9:24 p.m., police were called to a home on Burgundy Hill Lane about an unwanted person, the ex-boyfriend of the victim, Brandon A. Bell, 29, of no certain address, according to the report, who entered her apartment three times in the last month without her permission. Bell told officers the woman had invited hime over but became upset when he turned up intoxicated, the report says.

Jan. 6

RISK OF INJURY TO CHILD, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — At 3 p.m., Lamar Lollar, 35, of Wadsworth Street turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

Jan. 5

FAILURE TO RESPOND — At 7:30 p.m., Andrew T. Craig, 25, of Stanwoll Hill Road, Deep River, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, VIOLATION OF PROTECTIVE ORDER — At 8:49 p.m., Barbara Palanzo, 76, of Highland Avenue argued with her daughter and son about cable television, according to the report, and then hit her daughter in her back with a cordless telephone.

Jan. 3

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 12:52 p.m., police were called to the home of Michael Cloutier, 32, and Nichole L. Cloutier, 29, of Wall Street who were arguing over her sleeping in too late, according to the report, and he "head-butted" his wife and she punched him in the chest. Both were charged.

Dec. 29

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — East Hampton Police picked up Aaron M. Aitken, 20, of Plains Road, Moodus, on an outstanding warrant from Middletown Police.

Dec. 27

SUSPENDED LICENSE, STOP SIGN VIOLATION — Anselmo Hernandez, 37, of Schaefer Road was driving a Honda Civic on West and Middlefield streets without stopping at the intersection, the report says, and once stopped by police said, "when I don't see any cars coming, I just go."

UNREGISTERED CAR, IMPROPER USE MARKER PLATE, INSURANCE FAILS MINIMUM, SUSPENDED LICENSE — Carlos R. Costas, 23, of Parker Avenue South, Meriden, was driving a Nissan Pathfinder on Washington Street with a plate registered to a Honda Accord, the report says.

Dec. 23

TWO COUNTS SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 8:30 p.m., Kyle R. Rawling, 24, of Grove Street turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
