Middletown Arrests: Jan. 5-18

VIOLATION OF PROBATION — At 3 a.m., Jordan Burke, 30, of Edward Road, Portland, turned herself in on an outstanding warrant for an incident in Manchester on Dec. 17, 2012.

POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, ATTEMPT TO COMMIT CRIME — At 8 p.m., police served a search warrant at a Main Street apartment, after learning the resident allowed multiple men to sell heroin and narcotics from her home. [See ] Police say Peter Allen, 51, of Wickham Road, East Haddam, is a "runner" for a drug dealer, delivering narcotics to buyers. The report says he was found outside apartment door by officers after he called the dealer's cell phone looking for drugs. He had $17 on him, police say.

OPERATE UNREGISTERED VEHICLE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED — At 5:34 p.m., Calvin B. Ready, 57, of South Main Street was driving a Mitsubishi Galant on Dingwall and deKoven drives.
