Dec. 21

SECOND-DEGREE BREACH OF PEACE — Gregory Goggins Jr., 29, of Yellow Orange Circle hosted a large party, according to the report, to which police had to warn him twice during the night. The second time, police say, he refused to end the party.

Dec. 19

ILLEGALLY OBTAINING DRUGS, POSSESSION NARCOTICS, ATTEMPT TO COMMIT CRIME, VIOLATION OF PROBATION — At 8 p.m., Loreen Wilds, 45, of Victory Street, New Britain, and Rapallo Avenue, Middletown, was picked up at Cromwell Police headquarters on an outstanding warrant.

Dec. 18

DUI — At 8:23 p.m., Michael E. Koba, 46, of Butternut Street was found seated in his truck on Butternut Street while smelling of alcohol, according to the report, with keys in the ignition and a warm engine. He failed sobriety tests and a blood alcohol level test registered .1957 and .1971 and later admitted to drying a half a pint of whiskey and three to four beers, according to police.

Dec. 17

SUSPENDED LICENSE, FAILURE TO HAVE STOP LAMPS, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAISE MINIMUM — At 10:45 p.m., Luis Robles, 32, of Long Hill Street, Springfield, Mass., was driving a Nissan Maxima on Bartholomew Road while on the way to work at Middlesex Community College, according to the report. 

Dec. 15

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY, DUI — At 12:44 p.m., Marita A. Shurkus, 46, of Town Brook was involved in a car accident while intoxicated, according to the report, and failed sobriety tests with a blood alcohol content of .257 and .248.

SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY — At 4:50 p.m., Alexander Hart, 18, of Newfield Street was at Bob's Stores on East Main Street and seen by a loss preventions officer put a red sweater under his sweatshirt, according to the report, and walk out.

Dec. 14

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY, TRAVELING TOO FAST FOR CONDITIONS, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAISE MINIMUM — At 10:29 p.m., police were called to Tuttle Road about a car accident in which Imran D. Simon, 33, of no certain address, hit a city of Middletown plow truck and fled the scene, according to the report. He told officers he was bringing a friend's son to the hospital after the child had an asthma attack, slid on the heavy snow and rear-ended the truck.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — At 8:36 p.m., police were called about a woman who said Corajean Garrison, 30, of Washington Street assaulted a woman at 5:30 a.m. at a home on Silver Street, injuring her face and thighs, according to the report. Police say Garrison admitted to hurting the woman while intoxicated, but added the victim was also drunk and fought back.
