Middletown Arrests: Aug. 20-25

The following police reports are obtained directly from the Middletown Police public information officer and inclusion on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

Middletown Police report the following incidents:

Aug. 25

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 9:09 p.m., Jacqueline Burchard, 19, of Rose Circle walked into police headquarters saying at 7 p.m. she and her aunt got into a verbal argument over missing headphones when Paula M. Bouchard, 50, of Rose Circle slapped her face, pushed her down and choked her, according to the report. Paula told police Jacqueline through items around the room and came toward her aunt aggressively. Both were charged.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — Around 12 p.m., Kathleen H. Perkins, 63, of McKenna Drive argued with her son over the cell phone bill and she slapped his neck, which she admitted doing, according to the report. 

POSSESSION MARIJUANA AND OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA, ILLEGAL OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE UNDER INFLUENCE, SECOND OFFENSE — At 3 a.m., Anthony J. Pizzitola, 31, of Village Gate, Southington, was at McDonalds on South Main Street when police say he was found sleeping in his running car while intoxicated. The report says his foot was on the brake pedal and two open beers were found inside. He had a glass pipe in his front pocket, according to officers, and he admitted using it to smoke marijuana. He failed sobriety tests and his blood-alcohol levels registered .2135 and .2055, according to police.

Aug. 24

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 10:25 p.m., Villanirys Delacruz, 21, of Maplewood Terrace fought with her mother about how she cares for her 3-year-old daughter which turned physical, according to the report, and Delacruz charged her mother, grabbed her arms and pushed her across the room. Her brother separated them, police say, and the child was in the room.

Aug. 23

TWO COUNTS SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 8:30 a.m., Paulo J. Lopez, 45, of Kieft Road was at the scene of a verbal dispute when he was found with an outstanding warrant from Wallingford. 

Aug. 20

EVADING RESPONSIBILITY — At 3:45 p.m., William J. McGarrah Jr., 24, of Peach Tree Lane turned himself into Middletown Police on an outstanding warrant.
