Middletown Police report the following incidents:
THIRD-DEGREE LARCENY — Rogelio Figuero, 34, of Botsworth Hill Road, Newtown, turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.
FIRST-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — At 4:29 p.m., Kirk Dozier, 41, of no certain address walked by the rear of 170 Main Street where an officer saw him, knowing he had an outstanding warrant. Dozier told the officer, the report says, that he was in the hospital and couldn't make his court date.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT — At 4:21 p.m., Donald Evans, 53, of Newfield Street was seen by police in a fist fight with Michael J. Kyttle, 55, of Newfield Street. They turned out to be both residents of the rest home for over two years, police say. The fight began, the report says, when Kyttle asked Evans to move his bed. Kyttle told officers Evans punched him in the mouth, cut his head and knee and hurt his eye. Evans was charged with the above; Kyttle for breach of peace only.
VIOLATION RESTRAINING ORDER — At 8:40 p.m., police were called to South Main Street on the report of a domestic in which a witness saw Edgar Taylor Jr., 54, of Braeburn Lane through a window push Tamika Sharese Privott, 37, of Hillside Avenue to the ground, the report says. Privott told police she entered the apartment and was immediately grabbed by the hair and dragged to the elevator where she was punched and kicked then lost consciousness, police say. Taylor couldn't explain to police how her injuries took place, the report indicates. Both were arrested for the above; Taylor additionally for third-degree assault.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — At 7:57 p.m., police were called to a home for a domestic assault in which Lisa Magee-Corvo, 48, of Beverly Heights and her boyfriend, David Pero, 56, of Beverly Heights had a verbal argument that turned physical, when Pero pushed her to the ground. The report says her thigh was cut and when the boyfriend went to take a shower, Magee-Corvo followed him and threw household items at him and hit him with her fists, then threw a cast-iron skillet at his head. Both were arrested.
INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM — At 11:53 a.m., Justin A. Gonsalves, 27, of West Street was seen driving on Washington Street with his license plate hanging off.
INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM — At 8:53 a.m., Amanda Mazurowski, 31, of Ferry Street was driving a Toyota Camry on Court Street and, the report says, made an unsafe parking movement. She didn't have her license on hand, police say.
OPERATE UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE, INSURANCE COVERAGE FAILS MINIMUM — A patrol officer saw Jasnina Rodriguez, 31, of Elm Street, East Hartford, driving a Volkswagen Passat backing out of a parking lot. The report says that car had been reported stolen earlier to police and Rodriguez said she was borrowing
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHEN LICENSE SUSPENDED, IMPROPER PARKING — At 10:08 p.m., Ivan L. Hart, 36, of Stoney Crest Drive was sitting in a Volvo with the motor running that was parked two feet away from the curb on Liberty Street in front of Aresco's Market, according to police. He was not aware his license was suspended, the report says.
