Former Middletown Addict Cheats Death, Gets Pass on Jail Sentence

Gino Rizzo was brought back to life after dying from a drug overdose.

Middletown resident Gino Rizzo, 19, received yet another chance to start over Tuesday, when a Superior Court judge suspended a five-year prison term for a drug charge, the Hartford Courant reports.

Rizzo, who was recently brought back to life after suffering a drug overdose, was facing multiple drug charges for allegedly selling heroin in a parking lot on East Main Street back in March, police said.

He eventually ended up pleading guilty to possession of narcotics with intent to sell, the Courant reports.
