Moped Driver in Critical Condition After Serious Crash
Police say 72-year-old Durham man was flown by Lifestar to Hartford Hospital Tuesday afternoon.
A 72-year-old Durham man is in critical condition after the moped he was driving collided with a car on High Street, according to Middletown Police.
Tuesday at noon, a 2008 Volvo driven Jan Oko, 47, of New Britain was traveling south on High Street, turning left onto Loveland. A Jawa 210 Sport moped, driven by Richard Caso was traveling north on High when the left front of the Volvo collided with the moped.
Caso was flown by Lifestar to Hartford Hospital. Oko was not injured.
