Daughter Arrested After Fight With Mom Over Rehab: Cops

Middletown Police incident reports through April 26

Middletown Police report the following arrests:

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On April 26, Anna Bacon, 39, of High Street was at the scene of a domestic call. The victim said she was arguing with her daughter, Bacon, over her returning to alcohol rehab. The daughter poked her “pretty hard” in the right hip. Bacon admitted doing so. She has a May 27 court date.

TWO COUNTS SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On April 26, Bailey Coutant, 20, of South Main Street was seen near Main and Ferry streets. She had two outstanding warrants and was given a May 6 court date.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On April 26, Ashley Clark, 20, of East Main Street was in an argument with her boyfriend and kicked the windshield of his car, causing damage. She was given an April 26 court date.

SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY, INTERFERING WITH AN OFFICER — On April 25, Jordan C. Skorupski of Hickory Circle was a passenger in a motor vehicle stop on Trolley Crossing Lane. He was found with a warrant from Oct. 8, 2010. He was given a May 2 court date.

FIRST-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On April 25, Michael Crandall, 33, of Boston Post Road, Old Saybrook, was found in lockup with an active warrant. He was given a May 6 court date.

OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT INSURANCE, AND UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE — On April 24, Marvin R. Davis, 56, of South Main Street was driving on South Main without a front plate.

OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT INSURANCE, AND UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLE — On April 24, Shannon S. Saunders, 41, of Greenmanville Road, Mystic, was driving on Main Street with no front plate and a cracked windshield.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR, SIMPLE TRESPASS, INTERFERING WITH OFFICER — On April 22, Vaughn Johnson, 18, of Walnut Street was seen jogging on the train tracks on Union Street. When police stopped him, he ran off. He was processed on an outstanding warrant from Manchester and given a May 5 court date.

FAILURE TO OBEY TRAFFIC SIGNAL, OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WITHOUT INSURANCE — On April 21, Kelvin Winston, 19, of New Lane, Cromwell, drove through a red light on Washington Street. He was given a May 6 court date.

OPERATING MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SUSPENDED DRIVERS LICENSE — On April 14, Shaquina L. Eason, 32, of Long Lane, was driving on Spring Street with object on her rear-view mirror.

POSSESSION UNDER 4 OZ MARIJUANA — On April 19, Jessica L. Marquis, 21, of Maynard Street was driving on Hillside Avenue with a loud muffler. Officers smelled marijuana in the car and Marquis said it had been smoked in the car last night. She handed over a baggie with 1.2 grams of marijuana. She was given a May 4 court date.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On April 11, Tashaya A. Brown, 31, of Ferry Street was found at home and processed on a warrant from an Oct. 25, 2010, incident. She was given a May 9 court date.
