Middletown Police report the following incidents:
SIXTH-DEGREE LARCENY — On Aug. 1 at 5:19 p.m., Anthony Perry, 18, of Main Street was seen at Bob’s on East Main Street walk into a dressing room with a pair of Nike shorts ($16.99) and leave without them. When stopped, he admitted to doing so and said it was the first time he shoplifted.
DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On July 31 at 11:10 a.m., Robert F. Robinson Jr., 61, of Tryon Street and his son got into an argument because he thought he should move out or get a job; the son didn’t want to move out because he was on disability. When the mother came in, he pushed a heavy tray off the table and it his wife’s foot accidentally.
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE — On July 31 at 6:20 p.m., Jennifer Davis, 39, of Burgundy Hill Lane was driving a Subaru on East Street
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE — On July 31, Miguel Martinez, 52, of Maplewood Terrace was stopped on River Road.
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE — On July 30, Garrett Henry, 27, of Snake Hill Road, Durham, was driving on Pine Street and when stopped, said he was unaware of the suspension.
SECOND-DEGREE SEXUAL ASSAULT, RISK OF INJURY — On July 29, Colin Murkette, 27, of Turkey Street, Hardwick, Mass., was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On July 29, Kesha L. Redding, 23, of Talor Court, Willimantic, was found at the 200 block of Main Street with an outstanding warrant.
THIRD-DEGREE CRIMINAL TRESPASS — On July 26 at 9:26 p.m., Andres Rosado, 19, of Rose Circle was at the 200 block of Carriage Crossing on a report of suspicious activity. Rosado said he and two others had been using the pool and fitness center at the apartment complex at Westlake Drive.
OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WITH SUSPENDED LICENSE — On July 26, James J. Rankins, 55, of Rapallo Avenue was driving on Main Street and failed to signal.
NON-STUDENT POSSESSING DRUG PARAPHERNALIA NEAR SCHOOL — On July 25, Gail F. Saltus, 48, of Middletown Avenue, East Hampton, was the front passenger in a car stopped on Spring Street. The driver was arrested on a warrant from Troop F; she was found with the same; in the car officers found a glass crack pipe with residue and three more in her purse.
NON-STUDENT POSSESSING DRUG PARAPHERNALIA NEAR SCHOOL — On July 25 at 11:34 a.m., Jule A. Facius, 23, of Schoolhouse Lane, Middle Haddam, was driving onto Rapallo Avenue and stopped by officers. While looking for her insurance, the officer saw a small cellophane bag in with her paperwork. The plate didn’t belong on the car and the license was expired. She admitted to a 20-bag a day heroin addiction and had a used hypodermic needle, metal spoon with residue and empty heroin bags in her purse, a men’s Rolex watch, pocket watch, Foxwoods silver coin, and jewelry box with a men’s and women’s ring and pair of diamond earrings. She said they were given to her as a gift.
