Connecticut State Police Arrests of Middletown Area Offenders

The latest list of arrests from Durham, Middlefield and the surrounding towns.

The following police reports come from the public information officer. Individuals named here reflect charges filed, never a conviction.

The Connecticut State Police Troop F in Westbrook reports the following incidents

Durham


Dec. 9

Peter R. Fusco, 27, 20 Brook St., Hamden, turned himself in to police on Dec. 9 and was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree larceny and two counts of second-degree criminal mischief. The charges stemmed from a pair of incidents at the Dunkin Donuts on 38 Main St. in Durham on April 28 and June 18. Fusco was also charged with first- and second-degree failure to appear stemming from separate incidents. He was held on a total $90,000 bond and was due in Middlesex Superior Court in Middletown on Dec. 10.

Dec. 12

Andrew John Sansevero, 27, 19 Bella Drive, Durham, was charged with operating under the influence, a failure to drive in the proper lane, operating an unregistered car, a failure to drive at a reasonable distance, possession of over four ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after police pulled him over on Route 9 south near Exit 12 on Dec. 12. Sansevero was held on a $1,000 bond and is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 26.

Middlefield

Dec. 8

Three cars on Seminole Road in Middlefield were damaged sometime during the late hours of Dec. 7 and early hours of Dec. 8. Someone damaged the front and rear windows of each vehicle. No suspects were identified and the state police are investigating.

Haddam

Dec. 12

Frederick Bouchard, 71, PO Box 213, Higganum, was charged with a second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault after police received a 911 call from a victim stating that her husband was trying to push her out of a moving car. When police arrived they took Bouchard into custody and transported him to Middlesex Hospital for a mental evaluation. Bouchard was due in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 13.

Westbrook

Dec. 8

Jenna Barber, 28 Somerset St. West Hartford, turned herself in to the Troop F barracks in Westbrook on Dec. 8 after learning there was a warrant from the West Hartford Police Department charging her with a possession of heroine. She was later transferred to that department.

Dec. 12

Michael Heroy, 21, 435 Winthrop Road, Deep River, was charged with speeding over 70 mph and operating under the influence after police pulled him over in Essex around 3:34 a.m. on Dec. 12. Heroy was held on a $500 bond and is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 27.

Essex

Dec. 12

Robert W. Smith, 18, 115 Main St. Essex, was charged with a violation of probation after he was taken into custody on Main Street in Essex on Dec. 12. Smith was held on a $10,000 bond and was due in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 13.

Gina A. Haut, 40, 184 Main St., Ivoryton, was charged with third-degree hindering prosecution, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia after she was pulled over on Pond Meadow Road in Essex on Dec. 12. Haut was released on a $1,500 surety bond and is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 26.

Garrett N. Lamountain, 19, 15 Brookside Lane, Essex, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief on Dec. 15 stemming from an incident on Aug. 19. Two other juveniles were also arrested on the same charges.

Deep River

Dec. 12

Scott J. Kayszat, 47, 184 Main St., Ivoryton, was charged with third-degree larceny and a conspiracy to commit larceny after police said he was taken into custody in Deep River on Dec. 12. Kayszat was held on a $7,500 surety bond and is due in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 26.

Chester

Dec. 14

Ryan P. Omara, 29, 48, Railroad Ave., Chester, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass, third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct after police responded to an incident on Dec. 14 on High St. Omara was held on a $1,500 non-surety bond and was scheduled to appear in Middlesex Superior Court on Dec. 16.
