Car Seriously Injures Pedestrian On Main

Accident happened Sunday night near The Shadow Room, police say.

An individual is being treated at Hartford Hospital after being hit by a car Sunday while crossing Main Street near The Shadow Room, Middletown Police say.

At 8:36 p.m., a 2002 Toyota Corolla driven by Uka Ceccunjanin, 53, was traveling south on Main Street when a pedestrian (name withheld) walking west across Main was hit by the left front of the Corolla.

The pedestrian was transported to Hartford Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, according to police.
