VIDEO: Car Hits Utility Pole on South Main

The driver was sent to Hartford Hospital for evaluation but appeared to have no injuries.

A vehicle traveling north on South Main Street late Saturday in Middletown crashed into a utility pole. The driver was taken to Hartford Hospital for evaluation.

At about 10:30 p.m., the car drifted to the right of the roadway and hit the curb in front of KFC. The vehicle then took a hard left, went across oncoming traffic, and hit the pole. The car suffered extensive front-end damage.

In the video, the vehicle is seen resting on the front lawn of Wanas Psychic Readings.
