Bristol Man Seriously Hurt After ATV Fall

Middletown Police say Gabriel Morales, 28, who was riding the trails off Shunpike Road, near the Haddam line Saturday evening, was brought by Lifestar to Hartford Hospital.

 

A Bristol man was seriously injured after being ejected from the all-terrain vehicle he was driving Saturday in a wooded area near the Haddam line, report.

On April 14 at 6:30 p.m., a serious all-terrain vehicle accident occurred in a wooded area east of Shunpike Road.

A 2006 Yamaha 660 ATV driven by Gabriel Morales, 28, was traveling in a wooded area 200 feet east of Shunpike Road, near Bartholomew, when he lost control and was ejected from the vehicle. Other ATV drivers showed South Fire District firefighters to the scene. 

The operator was transported to Hartford Hospital by Lifestar for injuries.

The investigation is continuing by Officer Doug Clark of the Traffic Unit.
