PD: Middletown Man Among Two Charged in Dirtbike Thefts

Haddam's State Trooper says a 35-year-old city resident and his 20-year-old Higganum co-conspirator were both found in jail on other crimes.

The Haddam Resident Trooper announces the following arrests:

THIRD-DEGREE LARCENY, CONSPIRACY TO COMMIT THIRD-DEGREE LARCENY — Jeremiah Marselli, 35, of Hickory Circle, Middletown, was arrested recently after a burglary investigation of two dirtbike motorcycles from a shed on Camp Bethel Road in the Tylerville section of Haddam on Feb. 15. The warrant was served while he was incarcerated in a Connecticut correctional facility, according to police.

Jacob Hartzell, 20, of Killingworth Road, Higganum, was his co-conspirator in the case, according to the police report, he was already charged and is also incarcerated.
