PD: Intoxicated Pantless Woman Frightens Girl

A 48-year-old homeless Middletown woman was arrested after police say a man and his daughter came upon her sitting in a parking lot without pants or underwear on, according to police.

On May 20 at 4 p.m., Anne M. McGrath of no fixed address was in the Pedal Power parking lot off Main Street sitting up against the wall with no pants or panties on, the report says. A man told officers he and his 9-year-old daughter were upset when they saw the woman, about three parking spots away from their car.

Upon investigation, police say, the intoxicated woman had seven 24-ounce cans of beer near her, six of which were empty, and she had just urinated on herself. The report says, “she was covered with flies and smelled horribly.”

It also details McGrath had been found two other times that week similarly naked from the waist down in public.

She was charged with breach of peace.
