PD: Rest Home Resident Charged After Anger Fit

Middletown Police say a 32-year-old was incense when staff told him he couldn't visit a friend.

Middletown Police report the following incidents:

FIRST-DEGREE BURGLARY, THIRD-DEGREE ASSAULT, DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On June 19 at 11 a.m., , 30, of Navadon Parkway was in Middletown Superior Court and found with an outstanding warrant.

BREACH OF PEACE — On June 10 at 9:27 p.m., , 32, of Newfield Street was involved in a disturbance at the Newfield Rest Home. Police say upon arrival they found an ashtray filled with water had been thrown at the door, with cigarette butts all over the door and floor. The report says the caller, an employee had awoken Suleski, who suffers from schizophrenia, at 8:46 p.m. to give him medication and he yelled at her and ran after her to the kitchen where she locked the door. Police say he started shaking the door handle and yelling at her to listen to him. Outside, Suleski told police he was in the process of suing several people, the report says; he was leaving soon due to poor treatment, and he was angry because the employee wouldn't let him visit a friend in the rest home.
