SECOND-DEGREE CRIMINAL MISCHIEF, THIRD-DEGREE LARCENY — On July 16 at 8 a.m., Alfio Barone, 21, of Braeburn Lane turned himself in on an outstanding warrant.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On July 16 at 7 a.m., Alora Baldino, 20, of Loveland Street turned herself in on an outstanding warrant.

VIOLATION OF PROBATION, DISORDERLY CONDUCT — On July 15 at 11:30 p.m., Luan Velez, 28, of Twiss Street, Meriden, turned himself in on two outstanding warrants.

SECOND-DEGREE THREATENING, SECOND-DEGREE HARASSMENT — On July 15 at 8:30 p.m., Kirk Demeo, 42, of Briarwood Court, Rocky Hill, was arrested by Rocky Hill Police on an outstanding warrant from Middletown.

SECOND-DEGREE FAILURE TO APPEAR — On July 13 at 10 a.m., Stephen Anderson, 20, of Blue Spruce Street was in Middletown Superior Court and found with an outstanding warrant for second-degree failure to appear.

OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE LICENSE IS SUSPENDED, STOP SIGN VIOLATION — On July 13 at 10:25 p.m., Joseph D. Massy, 43, of Saybrook Road was driving a Ford Escort on Ridge Road and failed to stop at a four-way intersection with Russell Street, the report says. Once stopped, police say, he admitted to having a suspended license for not paying parking tickets.

FAILURE TO HAVE TAIL LAMPS, OPERATION MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE LICENSE IS SUSPENDED — On July 9 at 7:09 a.m., Kyle M.  Lukowski, 21, of James Street, Colchester, was seen by an officer driving a car on Washington near West Street with a broken passenger-side tail light.

USE OF DRUG PARAPHERNALIA — On July 7 at 6:01 p.m., Terrance Harding, 45, of Johnson Street was seen by police with another man on Liberty Street reaching into a black plastic bag near a brick wall that partially hid what they were doing, the report says. When police stopped him, Harding appeared nervous, the report says, and police found a glass pipe on the ground near his feet with black residue and copper wiring. The report says he admitted the pipe was his and he used it to smoke crack.

POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, NON-STUDENT POSSESSING DRUGS NEAR SCHOOL, FAILURE TO OBEY CONTROL SIGNAL — On July 2 at 8:12 p.m., Ira Dwane Lacks, 31, of Glover Place was driving on Liberty Street and a police officer saw him stop at Pearl and Washington streets over the crosswalk, the report says. A search revealed $241 in cash in a cup holder, .2 grams of soap-like substance in a baggie which tested positive for crack, the report says.
A Middletown man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol after an accident on Main Street around 6 p.m., near the Portland line. Paul A. Micoletti, 39, of 153 Eastern Drive, was also charged with no insurance, driving too fast, following too closely and failure to wear a seatbelt. He was released on a $2,500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on July 30.
