Gregory is currently being held on unrelated probation violation-related charges, the Register reported. Middleton police told the Register she was taken into custody Friday from a Main Street apartment in Middleton.

Police told the Register they found 29 bags of heroin in that apartment.

“I am hopeful that the diligence of our investigative team, surrounded by the professional assistance we received from a number of other state and local agencies will bring some level of conclusion to the family of Mr. McDade during this time of significant loss of a family member,” said Branford Police Chief Kevin Halloran in a statement.
