Second Car Collision in Less Than Day Sends Two to Hospital

Less than a day after a two-car crash on Washington Street, another two-car collision took place Saturday afternoon in Middletown, sending two individuals for medical treatment.

A two-car accident on Washington at High Street Saturday afternoon sent two individuals to the hospital, just a block away from where two cars collided less than 20 hours prior.

On Saturday between 12:30 and 1 p.m., according to resident Ed McKeon, a Hyundai and a station wagon tied up traffic as Middletown police, emergency medical and fire personnel worked to clear the scene.

Mid-week, according to the Facebook page, No Strip-Mall. No Wrecking Ball, a four-car, chain reaction rear-ender took place on Washington Street (Route 66), across the street from St. Sebastian's Church.

What do you think of all these accidents on Washington Street? Are there collisions near where you live or work?
