What's On Tonight: 'Person of Interest,' 'Prime Suspect,' 'The Year With Katie Couric'

TV tips for Thursday, Dec. 15, 2011

"Person of Interest," 10 p.m., CBS

This show keeps getting better. The decision to make the bad cop Fusco a larger character and to give him an inkling of a conscience was smart – have Reese and Finch save Carter was even smarter. Tonight, “Detective Carter faces fallout from her encounter with Reese and Finch; the machine comes up with not one, but four Social Security numbers.” FOUR! Like they need to extra work during the holiday season.

"Prime Suspect," 10 p.m., NBC

As back, as the Peacock burns off the remaining episodes because they lay this borderline great show to rest. NBC keeps Whitney and brings back Fear Factor but dumps this. NBC should just turn out the lights and lock the doors.

"The Year With Katie Couric," 9 p.m., ABC

Oooo, Barbara Walters must be nervously looking over her shoulder at this year-end special: “Celebrities, newsmakers and special guests reflect on the events of 2011.”
