Parking Fees=Gouging

Another fleecing of the taxpayer.   Setting up  parking meters as they are in Middletown will not draw people into the city. Nobody is going to dine at some restaurant if they have to worry about their meter running out. Check out  towns like Glastonbury, Old Lyme, E. Htfd. They draw people in down town. The way Middletown does it-well it's just a tax. What a way to inspire consumer spending. Greed at its best.
