Actress, Sally Arletta Garcia - Anne Bonny in The Pirate Plays

I met Sally Arletta Garcia at Hole In The Wall theater when I was directing a staged reading of Joyce Blackburn’s comedy, The Stuff Dreams Are Made Of.  She was playing the character, Katie, a romantic, Soap Opera groupie.  The play was full of funny lines.  But the hardest I laughed was during the first read through with the entire cast.  My head was down, reading along while listening.  Sally delivered a simple line that I didn’t think was necessarily funny.  But it brought the "house" down.

Sally Arlette-Garcia  is a passionate, dedicated actress who you will continue to find on the stage. She was last seen in a production of “The Producers” at Trinity on Main in New Britain. Prior credits include “Godspell” as a part of the Ensemble, Katie in a Staged Reading of the play “Stuff Dreams Are Made Of”, Beth in “Dinner with Friends”, Irma in “The Madwoman of Chaillot”, Miss Forsythe in “Death of a Salesman”, and Pupil in Eugene Ionesco’s “The Lesson” which she also directed in a small New York Theatre.
