This is an event for the whole family. Some of the activities include a pirate themed treasure hunt, a souvenir workshop and a planetarium show that shows how the pirates navigated the seas.
- Robin Hood’s Springtime Festival – May and June in Guilford
This Connecticut Renaissance Fair includes New England’s largest medieval marketplace. Enjoy the sights, sounds, smells and tastes that are unique to this romantic time.
- Connecticut Trails Day – June throughout the state
On this day in June, over 130 guided hikes are offered throughout the state along the Washington Rochambeau Revolutionary Route. Come and enjoy hikes, history walks, kayaking, horseback riding and much more.
- Great Connecticut Traditional Jazz Fest – July in Meriden
This huge festival includes four musical venues being played simultaneously all weekend. In addition to the music, there is swimming, tennis, activities for the children, dance lessons, a gospel service and an antique car show. Something for everyone!
- Milford Oyster Festival – August in Milford
This annual Oyster Festival has been held on the third Saturday of August every year for 34 years. It includes live entertainment, arts and crafts, vintage vessels, crafters, food and more.
- Apple Harvest Festival – September and October in Southington
This street fair celebrates the annual apple harvest. You will find a variety of apple products, arts and crafts, food booths, music, a parade and much more. This is fun for the whole family. Connecticut has something for everyone all year.
