Supporting a Good Cause

Tomorrow (Wed. 5/22) the Higganum chapter of TOPS (Take off Pounds Sensibly) will be having an all-day fundraiser at Timeless Trendz Consignment Store in Tradewinds Plaza on Saybrook Rd. Middletown. A portion of the days' sales will benefit the TOPS chapter. TOPS meets at the Higganum United Methodist Church on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. with confidential weigh-ins from 6-6:30 p.m. All are welcome and the chapter is actively seeking new members of all ages and genders.
Timeless Trendz is really a little jewel of a shop. They literally have something for everyone - clothing, household items, knick knacks. I am always amazed at the little treasures that it offers.
Information on TOPS will be available at the Timeless Trendz. Our hope is that perhaps someone who has never heard of TOPS will read this post and be interested enough to come to the fundraiser and learn more about what TOPS can do for you. If making new friends and having a solid weekly support system and fun along the way appeals to you, then you owe it to yourself to come and check TOPS out.
