A note to anyone who may come across my little missives:
Thank you all for your kind words about my writing. I do hope you enjoy reading my posts. Anyone who knows me knows that I love words and writing and music. All genres. All moods reflected therein.
Some have asked me how I select the songs I attach to the various postings. I will tell you this: some people are very visual. I am not. I have always made musical connections to everything - conversations I've had, people I've met, events that have happened. So the songs are whatever comes to mind when I think of a person or a time or a place. Yes, it is odd. But it is me. I have been told I am eccentric. I don't know. I am just...me.
I realize I make odd connections and oft-times people may not know where I am going with a particular thought, but if you bear with me, you might just enjoy following along. At least that is my hope.
Put another way, it is not about playing that person's favorite song. It is about what I think of when I think of that person.
Again, thank you for reading and I do hope I brighten someone's day somewhere.
