SCHOLARSHIP NAMED IN HONOR ARTHUR DIRECTOR, A MEMBER OF THE MIDDLETOWN ROTARY CLUB FOR OVER 53 YEARS

At the Middletown Rotary Club meeting on October 22, Thayer Talbot, Director of Programs & Operations with the Community Foundation of Middlesex County (CFMC), presented Middletown Rotary Club President Garry Mullaney a check for over $1100.

The charitable contribution was from the Arthur & Edythe Director Family Middletown Rotary Fund established with CFMC.  Arthur Director, a member of the Middletown Rotary Club for over 53 years, created this fund to support programs and services designed to prepare young people for their futures.

“I would like to thank Art for his generous donation which will provide a scholarship to a deserving student within the area our club services.  Middletown Rotary has decided to name this scholarship the Art & Edythe Director Scholarship in recognition of the family’s philanthropy,” stated Garry Mullaney, President of the Middletown Rotary Club.
