Middletown Rotary Club selects Angela Sidorski from Vinal Technical High School as Student of the Month

The Middletown Rotary Club honored Cromwell resident Angela Sidorski, a senior at Vinal Technical High School, as Student of the Month at the December 3rd luncheon meeting.

Scott Petras, shop instructor at Vinal, had the following words of praise for Angela:  “Angela is a dynamic, talented and dedicated student. She is the kind of student that teachers enjoy teaching, because she is engaged and focused on the work at hand. She brings a positive energy into my classroom environment. The qualities I have witnessed in Angela will translate well to the “real world” and I have no doubts about her ability to succeed beyond my classroom.”

Sidorksi is enrolled in the Computer Aided Drafting & Design program at Vinal and has a GPA of 95.34.  Her class rank is 10 out of 137. She is highly-regarded by her classmates and other teachers and also participates actively in extracurricular activities without allowing her academic work to suffer. She is a member of Skills USA and is a second-year member of their Chapter’s Leadership Team. She regularly volunteers at Red Cross blood drives at the school sponsored by Skills USA.
