Cookie Sales Help Water's Edge Raise $1,400 for Alzheimer's Assoc

Water's Edge raises $1400 (mainly through cookie sales) to support the 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer's

Water’s Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation had a team of 18 to support this year’s 2012 Walk to End Alzheimer’s held in Hartford on October 14.

Since the summer, Kathleen Kaliscak, Alzheimer’s Program Director for Water’s Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation, organized weekly cookie sales to raise money to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.  “Between monetary donations and cookies purchased by staff, as well as residents and their family members, we raised $1400,” Kaliscak commented.

Water’s Edge Center for Health & Rehabilitation is a skilled nursing facility offering a secured Alzheimer’s/Dementia Unit and has been proud to support the Walk to End Alzheimer’s for several years.
