Middlesex Chamber Member Breakfast Meeting-Governor Dannel P. Malloy

Governor Dannel P. Malloy will serve as guest speaker at the Chamber’s December Member Breakfast Meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2012.

Chandler Howard, Chairman of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, announced that Governor Dannel P. Malloy will serve as guest speaker at the Chamber’s December Member Breakfast Meeting on Tuesday, December 11, 2012. 

The Breakfast will be held at the Crowne Plaza Cromwell, 100 Berlin Road, Cromwell, with Networking beginning at 7 a.m.., Breakfast Buffet opens at 7:45 a.m. and the Breakfast Meeting Program 8 to 9 a.m. Cost is $20 for Chamber members and $30 for non-members. The event is sponsored by Connecticut Light and Power and Yankee Gas.

Following the Breakfast, the Chamber’s Affordable Housing Committee will host a symposium titled Planning for a Vibrant Downtown. The event will feature a panel of experts with experience in successful downtown housing and commercial initiatives.  The group will discuss ways to successfully navigate the political process; successfully build public support, how to attract developers, how to engage the local business community, what to avoid during the process, and other important issues. 

The symposium, sponsored by Liberty Bank Foundation, will be held at the Crowne Plaza Cromwell, 100 Berlin Road, Cromwell, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 11 a.m.

Cost to attend both the Breakfast and the Symposium is $30 for members of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, and $40 for non-members.
