Your help is "BIGGER THAN YOU THINK"!

BIGGER THAN YOU THINK is a short play with a huge purpose- helping Middletown's children grow up well. This is a time for commited action!

We are about a month away from the unveil of the Middletown Youth Service Bureau's community play "Bigger Than You Think."  To make this event a success we need YOU! There are a whole host of volunteer opportunities available posted on the Middletown Youth Services blog.

First and foremost we need actors.  For more information around roles in the play that we are recruiting/ auditioning for please visit: http://middletownyouthservices.blogspot.com/2012/09/bigger-than-you-think-roles.html

Roles vary from 1-2 lines to characters that appear in multiple scenes.  No acting experience is required and rehearsals go from October 8th through to the date of the show on October 17th (which is less than a two week commitment and much less than that depending on how many scenes your role may be in).

If you would like to participate off the stage, we have a list of volunteer opportunities here: http://middletownyouthservices.blogspot.com/2012/09/volunteer-needs-for-bigger-than-you.html

It may be as simple as baking some rice krispie treats for performers the week of rehearsals.  Every bit counts!

Additionally, we've begun to build sponsorship for the event. Already Liberty Bank, Suburban Stationers, Middlesex Mutual Assurance Company, Attention to Detail, Connecticut Rental Center, and National Paint have made contributions.  Obviously any monetary donation would be a huge help but we're also looking for donations (particularly wood and hardware for the set and food to help feed actors during rehearsals).  If you have any connections we'd love to get your support on this.

If you have any questions or would like to volunteer, please feel free to call Justin Carbonella at 860-854-6030 or email at carbonellaj@mpsct.org.  We are also posting information on our Facebook page and the easiest way to help is just to "like" and share our posts at http://facebook.com/mtownysb.
