What's Open, Closed on Martin Luther King Day

Keep this list handy on Monday, when many federal and state offices will be closed and transportation may be impacted.

Monday is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a day set aside to celebrate and honor the birthday of the slain civil rights leader.

The holiday is celebrated at both the federal and state levels.

Middletown City Hall offices are closed. Regular office hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

State offices are closed.

Courts are closed.

Financial and stock markets are closed.

Post offices are closed with no regular mail delivery.

Banks and public schools have the option to close.

The Russell Library is closed.
