Altrusa's Women's Health Awareness Day

Altrusa International of Central Connecticut, Inc. is sponsoring a Women's Health Awareness Day on Saturday, October 22 (Make a Difference Day) from 9:00 am to noon at St Pius X Church Hall (handicap accessible) on Westfield Street in Middletown.  

The event is planned & dedicated in memory of our dear friend and Altrusan, Jane Tarca.  She lost her battle with colon cancer in 2007, she was only 54.  This event is focused on providing information and encouraging women to "take care of their most important asset - their health!"

Keynote speakers will be:

Kathleen Kane from Pro Physical Therapy and Detective Will Maio from the Middletown Police Department talking about: Taking Care of Our Bodies Today...For the Benefits of Tomorrow   Other partners in health will be on hand with information and many free health screenings including bone density, blood pressure, etc. 

There will be a limited number of flu shots available.
