GMSO Athletes Compete at Special Olympics Games

I will use this blog to document community events through photography. I hope you will enjoy this blog as much as I enjoy bringing it to you.

Twenty-three athletes with the Greater Middletown Special Olympics competed in track and field events at the Special Olympics Connecticut Eastern Regional Games today, hosted by the University of Hartford & Hartford Public High School in Hartford.

More than 700 athletes competed in aquatics, track and field events. Opening ceremonies were at 9 a.m. at the University of Hartford Sports Center inside the Chase Arena.

I hope everyone will come out to cheer on the Special Olympics Athletes.

I created two photography blogs recently of the Greater Middletown Special Olympics Athletes and the Saint Sebastian's Church Festival "I Nuri Run" in Middletown.  I have been photographing these two events and writing about them for 15-20 years.  To see my two blogs, please click on the links below or copy and paste it in your window browser.
