I have lived here with my husband long before the suspicious NY company bought the buildings. I couldn't believe the changes that took place as soon as they bought them. It was immediate, and not for the better. The biggest issue is that the buildings are old and need some TLC, but not much is getting done. And when the super DOES do something in your apartment, he throws it back in your face and tries to make you feel guilty. There's also a language barrier with the super. He doesn't understand English well, and it leads to misunderstandings. We also need a permanent leasing agent in the building, someone we can speak to when problems come up. The lady that is in charge is not living here anymore, and it's hard to get a hold of her. Her assistant that mans the guard shack knows nothing, and complains more than she helps. It seems the company is also getting in more tenants who are young, irresponsible, loud and like to party. Most of them obviously don't hold a job. And they obviously don't pay out of pocket. But many of us who do pay out of pocket are only here because they froze our rent for a while (due to our threats of moving), but once that freeze ends, people don't plan on staying. If things continue the way they are, I'm also leaving. I would not recommend this complex to newcomers.
