Sunday – “The Great Unfolding”

We join hundreds of other
congregations across faiths and across the country in observing “Evolution
Weekend.”  This is the ninth annual
celebration spinning off The Clergy Letter Project, an endeavor mobilized by
Michael Zimmerman in response to the anti-evolution policies adopted by the
school board in Grantsburg, Wisconsin in 2004.  Letters from clergy poured in. The project grew into an
interfaith venture holding up the compatibility of science and religion.  To learn more and to read the

observed closer to February 12, the birthday of Charles Darwin (and Abraham
Lincoln, the very same year!), we’ll simply wish both a belated Happy Birthday!
