Wadsworth Mansion New Year's Day Open House

The Friends of Long Hill Estate and the Long Hill Estate Authority will host their 15th Annual New Year’s Day Open House on Tuesday, January 1st, 2014, from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. The program is free and includes entertainment for visitors of all ages.

The event will feature docent tours, horse-drawn carriage rides provided by Allegra Farms, and musical entertainment. Visitors can ride in a vintage carriage and view the grounds from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Steve Cleary will perform in the West dining room from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Guided walks on the grounds will depart the front entrance at 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Docent led tours are ongoing throughout the afternoon.

The Open House is an activity of the Friends of Long Hill Estate, whose mission is to promote the use of the Estate as a public and community resource.
